Menopause, Hot Flushes

Based on a traditional Chinese herbal tonic called "Two Immortals", Oriental Botanicals™ Femaren™ is also formulated using the western herbs Black cohosh and Vitex.

It is taken to help with the symptoms of menopause, such as irregular periods, lowered libido, fatigue, hot flushes, perspiration, skin and vaginal dryness, moods and nervousness, headaches, frequent urination, and muscle and joint pain.

The Chinese herbs Anemarrhena and Asparagus (Shatavari) have moistening, soothing and cooling properties, while the phytosterols that to harmonise and regulate the body, are provided by Epimedium, also known as Horny goat weed, and Curculigo.

To tonify the reproductive system and nourish the Blood, Dong quai has also been included in the formulation, while Black cohosh and Vitex help the menstrual cycle.
